Job Description
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced civil construction professionals looking to take the next step in their leadership career.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating daily site activities, leading crews, maintaining productivity and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
You will be a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to the successful delivery of civil construction projects.
This role is also viewed as a development pathway towards future Site Supervisor opportunities within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily site activities and work crews
Support project delivery in line with program and budget requirements
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
Supervise subcontractors and site personnel
Monitor quality outcomes and project specifications
Assist with planning, resource allocation and site documentation
Identify and resolve site issues proactively
Mentor and develop team members through coaching and leadership
Maintain positive working relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
Desired Skills and Experience
You will have:
Proven experience within civil construction and earthmoving projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Current Construction White Card
Current Class C Drivers Licence
Ability to read and interpret plans and project documentation
Sound understanding of WHS and environmental requirements
Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership
Highly Regarded
MR or HR Licence
Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller, Water Cart or Articulated Haul Truck VOC/SOA
Experience supervising crews on subdivision, road, bulk earthworks or infrastructure projects
Demonstrated understanding of project productivity, cost control and program management
